Admissions Procedure :

Secondary School Section: Admissions are open for class VI in the month of December every year. Admission for higher classes is also given subject to availability of seats.

Higher Secondary School Section: A student who has passed S.S.L.C. examination from M.B.O.S.E. or any other equivalent recognised Board is eligible to apply for admission into two years Higher Secondary (Arts & Commerce) course of M.B.O.S.E. Admission is based on merit of the candidate as per their academic performance of the Class X Board Examination. The students passing S.S.L.C. from the Laban Presbyterian Higher Secondary School will be given preference in the selection process.

The School offers the following subjects in the Higher Secondary Arts & Commerce Stream.

CLASS XI – XII (Arts)
i. Compulsory Subjects :-

  1. English
  2. M.I.L. Khasi /Alternative English
  3. Environmental Studies
ii. Elective Subjects :- (any three)
  1. Economics
  2. History
  3. Education
  4. Elective Language (Khasi)
  5. Political Science

CLASS XI – XII (Commerce)
i. Compulsory Subjects :-

  1. English
  2. Economics
  3. M.I.L. Khasi/Alternative English
  4. Accountancy
  5. Business Studies
  6. Environmental Studies.
  7. Entrepreneurship


Board Registration:

  1. Fees are annual and are to be cleared at the time of admission for class VI and XI. Other students are to clear the fees before the commencement of the new academic session.
  2. M.B.O.S.E. Final Examination Fees are to be paid as and when notified.
